Jess is a dedicated veterinary assistant with three years of experience in the veterinary field. Her love for animals began at a young age and has grown into a passion for providing compassionate care and supporting both pets and the people who love them.
She began her veterinary career as a kennel assistant, where she gained hands-on experience caring for animals and discovered how much she enjoyed working in veterinary medicine. Since then, she has expanded her experience by working as a veterinary receptionist and veterinary assistant, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both patient care and client communication.
Jess is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technology Program at Miami Dade College, where she is furthering her education and working toward becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She is passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine while providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.
One of Jess’s favorite aspects of veterinary medicine is client education and patient advocacy. She believes that helping pet owners better understand their pet’s health allows them to feel more confident and informed when making decisions about their care. She strives to advocate for her patients while ensuring their families feel supported, educated, and involved throughout their pet’s treatment.
Outside of work and school, Jess is a proud cat mom to her two cats, Mars and Rocket, who continue to inspire her love and dedication to animals.
